Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to common questions to make the most of your education journey.

Program length and weekly time requirements vary. Many short courses can be completed in just a few hours per week, while longer degree programs may require 10–15 hours per week.

Most programs only require a computer or tablet with internet access. Some courses may have additional requirements, like a webcam or specific software, which will be listed in the program details.

This depends on your organization's education and tuition benefits policies. Be sure to consider the workload and your personal schedule. Some learners prefer to complete one program before starting another to stay focused.

Review the program overview, learning outcomes, and skills taught. If you’re unsure, consider starting with a shorter course in your field of interest to test the fit.

Additionally, you can always discuss your questions with your Manager or our People Development Group. We’re here to assist you with educational goals, training opportunities, career planning, and more. The PDG team would be happy to meet with you to discuss if a program or certification might be a good fit for your goals.

Support options vary by program and provider but may include instructor interaction discussion forums, and help desks for academic questions.

You can also use the 'Get Help' dropdown in the top navigation to schedule time with your Bisk Student Success representative.
