The degree is designed to provide adult students with the knowledge, skills and credentials necessary to advance in a rapidly changing workplace and may be completed entirely online.

What can you do with an organizational leadership degree?

As an organizational leadership major at UMSL, you’ll gain the skills and credentials you need to take on advanced leadership and managerial roles in your current field or change careers and pursue leadership positions in another.

Our organizational leadership online degree will help you learn to articulate your personal leadership style, communicate effectively, and use tools to manage systems and organizational resources. You’ll also build advanced skills to lead teams and solve organizational challenges within your area of concentration.

These studies will help you prepare for a variety of roles leading organizational change, from communications or finance manager to project lead or management consultant – all areas in which experts expect to see growth in the near future.

After graduation, you’ll join the successful ranks of UMSL’s alumni – 94 percent of whom are employed, volunteering or continuing their studies in higher education.
